Complete your Financial Aid requirements by finding and submitting all necessary FAMU Financial Aid forms through the SFP portal.

 

All forms can be completed by typing in fields and selecting checkboxes. For the best experience, use the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.


Forms are required to be submitted via your Financial Aid *SFP Portal. WE NO LONGER RECEIVE PAPER VERIFICATION DOCUMENTS BY HAND, EMAIL, OR FAX. If you have questions or concerns, please contact your Financial Aid Representative or our office at (850) 599-3730.

OUT OF STATE WAIVER APPLICATION


OUT OF STATE WAIVER APPLICATION

The Division of Student Affairs is pleased to announce the opening of the Out-of-State Student Fee Waiver (OSW) application for the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters. Please complete the application in full (do not omit any questions). Priority will be given to students with a 3.3 or higher GPA, an average of 30 credit hour or more in an academic year.

The combination of this award and other tuition specific awards cannot exceed your tuition costs.  If you are the recipient of an award that covers your tuition costs, you cannot receive the OSW.

The application will open for 30 days (from March 1 – 31). The final determination of eligible students will be made by June 1, 2024.

 Student must be eligible to receive federal student aid and meet the following criteria:

  • • Cumulative FAMU GPA of 3.3 or Higher
  • • 2024/25 FAFSA
  • • Pell Eligible
  • • All relevant documents submitted to financial aid by April 1, 2024
  • • Completed a minimum of one academic year at FAMU
  • • Complete one academic year of 30 credits or more at FAMU

Student must be eligible to receive federal student aid and meet the following criteria:

  • Cumulative FAMU GPA of 3.0 or Higher
  • • 2021/22 FAFSA filed by January 1, 2021
  • • All relevant documents submitted to financial aid by April 1, 2021
  • • Completed a minimum of one academic year at FAMU
  • • Average 30 completed credits at FAMU per academic year completed
