Florida A&M University is revising its alumni email policy. The lifelong alumni email benefit will be discontinued, and access to your FAMU alumni email account — including sending and receiving emails — will cease on November 1st, 2024
➜ Current Employees and Students
Alumni currently employed or enrolled at FAMU will retain their @FAMU.edu email as
long as they remain affiliated with the university.
➜ Support for Email Migration
Alumni are advised to back up their email data before their accounts are closed. For
guidance on backing up your emails or setting up email forwarding, please visit our
FAQ section on the ITS webpage.
➜ Account Closure Notifications
If you receive an account closure notification but are still connected with FAMU as
a student, staff, or faculty member, please get in touch with ITS for clarification.
