The Engineering Living Learning Community is for FAMU students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering.
The College of Agriculture and Food Sciences (CAFS) Living-Learning Community is for first year (freshmen) students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Agribusiness, Agronomy, Biological Systems Engineering (BSE), Food Sciences, Entomology, and Animal Sciences.
The College of Education Living-Learning Community is for first year (freshmen) students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Education through Pre-K/Primary Education, Elementary Education, Physical Education, or Secondary Education (Biology, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, Music, Physics, Social Sciences).
The College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health Living-Learning Community (LLC) is for first year (freshmen) students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The College of Science and Technology (CST) Living-Learning Community (LLC) is for students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Medicine, Information Technology, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Physics.
The College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities (CSSAH) Leadership and Service LLC is designed for students majoring in one of the 14 eligible undergraduate programs offered within the College.
The School of Allied Health Sciences Living-Learning Community (LLC) is for first year (freshmen) students who are highly motivated and have an interest in pursuing careers in Cardiopulmonary Science (CPS), Health Care Management (HCM), Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM), Health Science/General (HS), Health Science/Pre-Occupational Therapy (HSPOT), and Health Science/Pre-Physical Therapy (HSPPT).
The School of Architecture and Engineering Technology (SAET) Living-Learning Community (LLC) is for first-time-in-college students (freshmen) who have an interest in pursuing careers in Architectural Studies, Construction Engineering Technology or Electronic Engineering Technology.
The School of Business and Industry Living-Learning Community (SBI LLC) is for first-year (Freshman) students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Accounting, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.
The School of Journalism and Graphic Communication (SJGC) LLC is for first time in college freshman students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Journalism, Public Relations, and Graphic Design.
The School of Nursing LLC participants learn skills necessary to build a solid foundation while on their journey towards becoming a competent and compassionate nurse.
The School of the Environment Living-Learning Community is for freshmen (first-year) students who have an interest in pursuing careers in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Studies.
The Honors LLC selects students from all majors and is an option for students who have been accepted into the University Honors Program.
The FAMU Transfer Living Learning Community (LLC) is designed to serve as a community for incoming transfer students. Transfer LLC students will participate in academic, personal career, and social activities to ensure a successful transition to the university. These activities will serve as catalysts to enhance and support the academic progression towards a timely graduation.
