Holds can be placed on your record for a variety of reasons, but they typically mean that you have responsibilities that the university office requires you to fulfill, such as unpaid fees, orientation, advisement, and several other obligations.

An Advisement hold is a hold placed on your account when you have not meet with your academic advisor during the school semester. This hold will prevent you from enrolling in your classes.

Alert Service Indicator Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not meet their academic requirements. This hold will prevent you from enrolling in your classes and be unable to receive financial aid.

How To Fix: Speak with your professor and make sure that they have marked you as attending for said course.
A Cashiering Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not made the necessary payments This hold will prevent you from enrolling in your classes if it exceeds $500.

Final Transcript is a hold placed on a student’s account who not turned in their Final Transcript into the Office of Admissions.
How To Fix: Submit your final transcript to the office of admissions
Financial Aid Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not met their Financial Aid requirements.
Financial Responsibility Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not finished the Financial Responsibility Statement.
How To Fix:
Immunization Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not received the required vaccinations or turned in the proper paperwork to Student Health Services.
How To Fix: Submit your immunization records or correct paperwork to Student Health Services.
Incomplete Admission Requirements Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not paid their Admissions Deposit.

Orientation Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not attended the School Orientation Session.
How To Fix: Sign up for and attend one of the various orientation sessions
Residency Documentation Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not turned in their Residency Documentation to the Office of Admissions

Withdraw from a course Hold is a hold placed on a student’s account who has not taking the necessary steps to withdraw from a course.
