Acknowledgement & Understanding  I understand the following...

  • The Rattler's Den is primarily a student recreational area that is not reservable for private events Monday - Friday. Private events are limited to Saturday and Sunday.
    However, student organizations and university departments are permitted to host events in the Rattler's Den provided the event does not hinder the day to day recreational activities.
    Efferson Student Union & Activities reserves the right to deny requests that conflict with the day to day recreational activities.

    The Efferson Courtyard is an outdoor venue. Events taking place in this space will have an impact on other activities taking place in and around Efferson Student Union. Events that may be disruptive to other activities will be denied.

    Facility Request

  • All outside parties not a part of the FAMU community must fill out a facility request form.
    A non-refundable deposit in the amount of 25% of the total room rental rate is due five (5) business days after the reservation has been confirmed by Efferson Student Union.  Failure to pay the non-refundable deposit will result in the reservation being cancelled.

    Events must be paid in full five (5) business days prior to the event.  Failure to pay by the deadline may result in the cancellation of the event.
    Requests to cancel reservations must be submitted in writing to the Efferson Student Union Facility Manager, esua@famu.edu, no less than five (5) business days prior to the event.

    Clients are liable for all event charges if the cancellation request is received after the deadline.
