With over 3,300 bed spaces, on campus housing at Florida A & M University consists of a diverse number of options. University Housing is not just a place to live. It is an educational experience dedicated to helping students learn outside of the classroom and preparing them for life beyond college. Housing staff supports community building through a variety of dynamic programs, ongoing activities and University wide projects. Housing rental rates include utilities, cable, WI-FI and internet.

FAMU Towers
In close proximity to our newest eatery, The HUB, FAMU Towers was opened in August 2020. A traditional-style residence hall offering co-ed floors and 350 double rooms, FAMU Towers may be your next home away from home.

Venom Landing
Venom Landing, our newest traditional-style residence hall, is slated to open August 2025 and it's everything you’ve been waiting for. Located steps away from FAMU Towers and the HUB, our vibrant new eatery, Venom Landing offers co-ed floors and space for 700 students to live, learn, and thrive together. Whether you're starting your FAMU journey or looking for a new place to call home, Venom Landing might just be your perfect fit.

Palmetto Street South
Located south of the main campus and offering both single and double occupancy, Palmetto Street South Apartments offers the luxury of on-campus housing without the constant hustle and bustle of central campus happenings. Both single and double spaces are offered.

Palmetto Street Phase III
Palmetto Street Phase III Apartments consist of three buildings: Building 162, Building 163 and the Common Building. The facility includes single and double rooms. Each apartment is fully furnished. The Common Building includes the main office, a recreation room which is equipped with a large television, computer lab, laundry facilities, a conference room, and vending machines. Phase III is the southern-most point of campus.

Polkinghorne Village
Named for Florida A & M University's first Tuskegee Airmen and built in 2014, Lt. James R. Polkinghorne Village offers suite style accommodations for over 8oo students. Located on the west side of FAMU's campus, residents enjoy the short distance to popular campus locations including Bragg Memorial Stadium and the Student Services Center which maintains the bookstore and the cafe. One of our most popular options, Polkinghorne Village, where friends become FAMUly.

Our most recent residential acquisition, Rattler Pointe consists of fully furnished apartments where residents are provided their own room and bathroom. A number of apartments are single occupancy while others house two residents. Sampson Hall
Sampson Hall, named after one of FAMU's distinguished past presidents, offers a traditional dormitory experience. It houses over 500 students and is centrally located on the campus, making it convenient for students to access various campus facilities and resources.

Young Hall
Young Hall is another traditional dormitory that houses over 400 students. Named after a beloved faculty member, this residence hall has a rich history and remains a favorite among students for its location and amenities.

Campus Tours are conducted through the Office of New Student Orientation. University Housing currently showcases model rooms in Polkinghorne Village East and FAMU Towers North.
