Residence Hall Association (RHA)
The Residence Hall Association is a student‑led organization within the Office of University Housing. RHA works to enhance the residential experience for all on‑campus students through advocacy, leadership development, and meaningful engagement. The organization hosts large campus‑wide events, educational programs, and planned trips for residents throughout the year. RHA also offers a variety of leadership opportunities through its executive board and hall councils.RHA is a campus‑wide organization that advocates for residents and creates leadership opportunities through educational programming, impactful service, and resident‑driven initiatives.
The RHA Executive Board oversees the direction and operations of the organization. Board members lead advocacy efforts, guide programming, and support the residential community while upholding the values of learning, understanding, tolerance, integrity, and unity.
Hall Councils
Hall Councils represent individual residential communities and help create strong, connected environments within each hall. Councils organize activities, events, and initiatives that build community and support the mission of RHA.Resident Assistant (RA)
Resident Assistants serve as peer leaders and crucial resources within the residence halls. They build relationships with residents, provide support, foster community, and help maintain a safe and engaging living environment.
Desk Assistant (DA)
Student Desk Assistants provide customer service at the front desks of residential facilities. They assist residents and guests, maintain desk operations, and manage administrative tasks that support the daily functioning of each building.
National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH)
NRHH is a leadership‑based honorary that recognizes the top one percent of student leaders living on campus. Members demonstrate excellence in service, leadership, and dedication to improving the residential experience. This organization also provides community service hours for students interested in serving their community.
Internships
The Office of University Housing offers internships in several areas, including Marketing, Information Technology, and Administration. These opportunities help students gain professional experience while supporting residential life operations.
