Residence Hall Association (RHA)
The Residence Hall Association is a student-led campus organization within the Office of University Housing (OUH). RHA aims to better the residential experience for the on-campus living students through advocacy and student leadership. RHA hosts larger campus-wide events and planned trips for all students who live on-campus. RHA offers leadership opportunities. Our executive board runs the organization.Preamble: We, the Residence Hall Association, representing the residential community of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, acknowledge individualism through learning and understanding by promoting tolerance, integrity, and unity among students. Accepting the responsibility bestowed upon us by the Office of University Housing to be the main policy approving body for the residence halls, we will place emphasis on the resident voice and opinions on issues and concerns. We encourage the development of leadership, programming skills, integrity, and self-responsibility, striving to maintain an open and just living environment.
Purpose: RHA is a campus wide organization that advocates for residents while offering leadership opportunities, through educational programming, impactful service and resident driven advocacy.

Hall Councils Hall councils support residential communities by organizing activities, events, and initiatives to further the mission of the Residence Hall Association (RHA), including the development of strong, cohesive communities in which students feel connected.

Resident Assistant (RA) RAs serve as valuable campus resources and have many different responsibilities. RAs spend significant time getting to know their residents, building relationships with and among their residents, and serving as a positive peer leader. Desk Assistant (DA) The Student Desk Assistant (DA) will demonstrate an ability to provide great overall service at the front desk of residential facilities and will be responsible for all administrative tasks that occur at the front desk.Contact Us
