About Me


Dr. Taiwo (Tai) Arise is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Educator with nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare and nursing education. She is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and guiding the next generation of nurses and advanced practice providers.

Dr. Arise began her nursing career as a medical-surgical nurse and has since gained experience across various specialties, including cardiology, primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, correctional health, and telehealth. She currently serves veterans as an Internal Medicine and Telehealth provider at the Veterans Medical Center, primarily caring for adult-geriatric populations.

In academia, Dr. Arise plays a vital role in curriculum development, student advising, and faculty support. She has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels in traditional and online formats.
