About Me

Dr. Kayla Mathis is a registered nurse and a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse. Her career in nursing has expanded over 26 years. Dr. Mathis matriculated through Tuskegee University and Florida International University. Dr. Mathis’ guiding force in life is derived from her favorite scripture, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path,” Proverbs 3:5-6. She is passionate about providing primary preventative care to the clients she serves. She is a published author and speaker at local, regional, national, and international conferences. Dr. Mathis is an advocate for those in her home, family, and community, and looks forward to continuing to empower individuals to become advocates for themselves.
