

Dr. Williams is currently an Adjunct Professor working in the School of Nursing. She earner her Bachelor of Nursing at Florida A&M, her Master of Science in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner focused from Florida State University, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Florida. She also most recently completed her studies and became certified as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Williams worked briefly in primary care, but for the last 11 years, she has worked in Urgent Care where she provides care to patients of all ages. She enjoys performing numerous procedures and the variety of patient complaints that she sees daily. Dr. Williams has worked as a adjunct professor intermittently for FAMU since 2011 and has served as a preceptor to numerous nurse practitioner students. She enjoys teaching the next generation of nurses. Dr. Williams is married to her very supportive husband and along with their two children, they enjoy spending time together at their activities, traveling, and enjoying sporting events.
