Deborah Taffe is a Nursed Educator with over 25 years of clinical practice experience. Her areas of expertise include medical/surgical, diabetes care, critical care, equity inclusion, evidence-based practice, and medical simulation. Her area of research is psychological empowerment of newly registered nurse. She has a certification in critical care nursing, advanced cardiac life support, and is basic cardiac life support instructor. Deborah Taffe holds a PhD. in Education with a specialization in the development, teaching, and administration of distance education programs, and has developed several online courses/programs. Prior to her academic career, she held a variety of positions in clinical practice including telemetry nurse, pediatric and critical care nurse, Magnate champion and assisted with pain management nurse utilization.
