I am a native of Tallahassee, Florida, currently residing in Central Florida. I hold
both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
from Florida A&M University, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing
from the University of South Florida. My doctoral research focused on human papillomavirus
(HPV) and the HPV vaccine. While my primary specialty is Women’s Health, my clinical
expertise spans a broad range of areas, including orthopedics/neurology, community
health, medical-surgical nursing, postpartum care, long-term care, and case management.
My career goals are centered on advancing the nursing profession through the preparation
of future healthcare professionals, contributing to the redesign of primary care services,
and advocating for health policy reforms that improve access to high-quality care
for all individuals.
