About Me

I am a native of Tallahassee, Florida, currently residing in Central Florida. I hold both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Florida A&M University, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing from the University of South Florida. My doctoral research focused on human papillomavirus (HPV) and the HPV vaccine. While my primary specialty is Women’s Health, my clinical expertise spans a broad range of areas, including orthopedics/neurology, community health, medical-surgical nursing, postpartum care, long-term care, and case management. My career goals are centered on advancing the nursing profession through the preparation of future healthcare professionals, contributing to the redesign of primary care services, and advocating for health policy reforms that improve access to high-quality care for all individuals.
