Professor Audra Hicks is a nursing educator with over two decades of healthcare experience
and a strong foundation in critical care. She is dedicated to preparing future nurses
through classroom instruction, clinical teaching, skills lab facilitation, and evidence-based
evaluation.
She remains actively engaged in bedside practice as a critical care nurse and ensures
her teaching reflects the most current standards in patient care. Professor Hicks
is passionate about leveraging technology in nursing education and is working toward
certification as a Nurse Educator, with plans to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice
(DNP).
