Mrs. Anika Powell is an experienced nursing instructor with 17 years of diverse clinical background, including home health, correctional nursing, nursing homes, medical-surgical pulmonary, and perioperative care. She currently teaches Advanced Medical-Surgical Theory and Clinical, Promoting the Health of Populations Clinical, and Leadership and Management in Nursing at FAMU School of Nursing. Passionate about educating future nurses, she emphasizes empathy and compassion in nursing care, inspired by Jean Watson’s humanistic philosophy.
