Exchange Extravaganza - Get to know more about some of the Exchange Programs partner with FAMU and how
you can save money by paying FAMU tuition to study abroad at one of these partner
exchanges for a semester or a year.
FAMU Study Abroad Photo Contest / Returned Student Reception – Say cheese, world travelers! FAMU’s Study Abroad Photo Contest is your chance to turn epic global moments into cash prizes—$100, $50, or $25! Snag up to three snapshots from your 2024–25 adventures and submit by September 1. Winners shine at a fun fall celebration on September 30. Snap away!
Study Abroad Fair - FAMU Students are encouraged to attend this Fair to learn about study abroad programs, international internships and service-learning opportunities, international scholarships, national fellowships, careers with US Department of State.
Study Abroad Scholarship Session – Prospective study abroad students can attend this information session to learn more about the various study abroad scholarship opportunities out there, ways to fund their abroad programs, as well as tips and resources for writing their scholarship applications and essays.
Gilman Scholarship Workshop -- Join us for an in-person information session on the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship! Learn how this prestigious award can help fund your study or intern abroad experience. During this session, we'll cover eligibility requirements, the application process, and tips for writing a competitive essay. We will also have Gilman scholars join us to share their experience in winning this amazing award and how you can too!

While Online Registration is not necessary, we encourage you to register in advance
because we are a Title III-funded program and rely on outcomes reporting that shows
attendance and assessment tracking for all of our events and outreach for Study Abroad.

The events are usually one (1) hour long, except for the Fair - the Fair is from 10am-3pm.
