About Me


DeEdgra Williams is an Associate Professor at Florida A&M University (FAMU) and has been teaching since 2006. She teaches various quantitative economics courses: Managerial Economics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, and Labor Economics. Her areas of interest are black economic development, quantitative economics, public finance, microeconomics, and labor economics. Additionally, her passion is mentoring and serving others to develop personally and professionally. She earned her Ph.D. from Florida State University in 2006 and has served as FAMU's Economics and Professional Leadership Development Department Chair since 2013. Her research has been published in academic journals such as Public Choice, Review of Regional Studies, and Public Finance and Management.
