About Me


Professor Kim Crag-Chaderton joined the Florida A&M University College of Law faculty team in 2018 as an instructor. She teaches the Guardian ad Litem Clinic as well as the Field Placement studies. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of the Virgin Islands and went on to graduate from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.

Prior to joining the faculty, she was a Senior Attorney for the Department of Children and Families for thirteen years where she earned numerous awards and commendations. Prior to her work with the Department of Children and Families she worked as a defense litigator for five years with the Office of Public Defender – Ninth Circuit. She remains an active member of several bar associations to include, the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar, Paul C. Perkins Bar, and the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter National Bar Association, earning numerous appreciation awards. Professor Crag-Chaderton also serves on the Board of Directors for the Parramore District aiming to be an advocate for business owners, property owners, and residents of Parramore in revitalizing the historic neighborhood.
