Professor Kambria Anderson, is a distinguished alumna of Florida A&M University College of Law and serves as an Instructor and Faculty Member in the Academic Success & Bar Preparation (ASBP) Department. She teaches Introduction to Analytical Skills and supports the R.I.S.E. Program, focusing on preparing students for law school exams, the bar exam and legal practice.
Professor Anderson's legal career began as a Certified Legal Intern with the Ninth
Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office and as a Law Clerk in civil litigation. After
graduating law school, she litigated criminal cases at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's
Office and specialized in constitutional law violations in inmate litigation at the
Florida Attorney General's Office. She later served as an Assistant General Counsel
at the Florida Department of Corrections practicing labor and employment law and as
an Assistant Public Defender in Florida’s Fifth Judicial Circuit practicing criminal
defense. Her diverse legal experience also includes child negligence law with the
Florida Department of Children and Families and environmental law with the Southwest
Florida Water Management District.
Before joining Florida A&M University College of Law, Anderson held roles in administration with Orange County Government and served her community as a Part-Time Faculty Member at Valencia College's Criminal Justice Institute.
With a diverse legal background and a strong commitment to student achievement, Professor Anderson brings valuable insight and practical experience to her role in preparing the next generation of legal professionals.
