CAFS enjoys a rich educational legacy as the original land-grant component implemented at FAMU. Our students are prepared to become skilled professionals in the agriculture and food sciences professions. 

The FAMU-COE has played a significant role in the state's future. The College of Education was the first and only college, department, or major within the university at its inception in 1887.

The College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health provides you with robust education, hands-on experiences, and guidance from our expert faculty to prepare you for a successful career in the field.

The programs in our multidisciplinary college connect students to the world with an array of learning opportunities including research, internships, co-op, service learning, online instruction, and experiential scholarship. 

The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering is the joint engineering school for Florida A&M and Florida State universities. 

The School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS) is one of three health professional schools at FAMU. Overall, FAMU ranks as the number one producer of African-American allied health professionals in Florida. 

The SAET is committed to meeting society's challenges by consistently improving the quality of the School's programs through research, public service, and recruitment, retention, and graduation of high-quality students.

The FAMU SON is the oldest continuing baccalaureate nursing program in the United States at a historically black institution. It is recognized as the first baccalaureate program in Florida. 

The SoE is a multidisciplinary unit that offers a range of services to students, governmental agencies, private sector companies, communities and other organizations!
