Dr. Lauric studied Mathematics at the University of Bucharest from 1985 to 1990. Then
he continued his studies in Mathematics at Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1997
with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, and from 1997-1999 with a MS in Statistics.

- Dr. Lauric's research interests are areas of Operator Theory, generally on Hilbert
space, with applications in Theoretical Physics and Probabilities. He is interested
in structure of operators that are related to normal, subnormal, hyponormal, finite-band
operators.
- Other than Math, Dr. Lauric is interested in Tennis, Kayaking and other outdoor adventures.
