Dr. Sumarga K. Sah Tyagi is a computer scientist with expertise in artificial intelligence,
cybersecurity, IoT/IIoT, biomedical informatics, and next-generation sequencing (NGS)
data analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from the University
of Chinese Academy of Sciences and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Florida
A&M University. His academic journey includes prior roles as a Postdoctoral Scholar
at the University of South Florida, Assistant Professor at Zhongyuan University of
Technology, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil.
Dr. Sah Tyagi has authored two books and more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in
leading journals such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Internet
of Things Journal, Future Generation Computer Systems, and IEEE Sensors Journal. His
research spans on deep learning-based biosequence alignment and genome assembly, as
well as large-scale AI/IoT initiatives supported by international agencies.
He is actively engaged in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students on projects
involving AI-driven cybersecurity, LLMs, and biomedical. He has served as guest editor
for IEEE and Springer journals, reviewer for leading conferences and journals, and
committee member for international symposia. An IEEE member since 2019, he integrates
teaching excellence, research innovation, and professional service to advance secure,
intelligent, and scalable computing systems addressing critical challenges in Bio
Cybernetics arena.
