She has experience in teaching both graduate and undergraduate students. Also, she has a public health and environmental toxicology background. She is expertise in high-throughput screening of naturally occurring bioactive compounds and phytopharmacology. In her research, she is focusing on cellular and molecular cancer biology, so she used different methodologies, including chromatography, genomics, whole transcriptome microarray, miRNA, imaging, immunofluorescence, and enzyme study, apoptosis, cell cycle, migration. During her tenure, she published many articles and attended conference in cancer biology and drug discovery. She wrote a chapter in (Flavonoids and Anti-Aging: Flavonoids Activation of Nrf2 and Osteoporosis). She arranges training sessions for undergraduate and graduate students since she has skills in managing the RCMI facilities, including cytokine, PCR, and western blot. In my research, she is collaborating with different sector of scientists, including, RCMI team, different colleges at FAMU, and external collaboration, in addition to international collaboration.
