Nirodha Laxmi Giri Chhetri is a highly dedicated professional with a strong background in accounting, business studies, and educational management. She currently serves as the Office Manager in the Department of Mathematics at Florida A&M University, where she oversees daily operations, manages fiscal processes, assists with budget preparation for grants, and provides administrative support to faculty and staff. Her leadership and efficiency in managing academic operations earned her the Best Employee of the Quarter Award in 2024.

Before joining Florida A&M University, Ms. Chhetri built a solid academic and professional foundation. She served as an Instructor at Apex College, where she taught courses in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Principles of Marketing to undergraduate students. She also worked as a Visiting Instructor of Financial Management at RITZ College of Hospitality Management and SANN International College, developing curriculum content that bridged theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

Earlier in her career, she gained significant financial and managerial experience as an Account Manager at Darpan Optical Plus where she managed financial records, negotiated vendor contracts, and streamlined inventory operations.

Ms. Chhetri holds a Master of Science in Accounting Practice from the University of Delaware, and a master’s degree in business studies (MBS) from Tribhuvan University. She also holds a bachelor’s in business studies and a bachelor’s in economics from the same university.

In addition to her academic qualifications, she has completed Professional Certified Accountant (PCA) “O” Level certification and received extensive training in professional accounting software, including Tally and TATA systems, as well as tax planning and auditing.

Known for her organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong commitment to excellence, Ms. Chhetri continues to contribute to higher education through her expertise in administrative management and financial accountability.
