The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is to lead, coordinate, and support initiatives and projects related to planning, assessing, examining, and reporting on the accomplishment of FAMU’s mission and strategic goals.

The assessment program at FAMU aims to promote a culture of continuous improvement. It is an integral component of the university’s commitment to sustaining and enhancing academic quality and student experiences.

The Office of Institutional Research & Analytics (OIRA) works collaboratively with all members of the university community to enhance the educational mission as set forth in the University's Strategic Plan.
