Vehicle Registration

With the use of the FAMU Parking Portal, vehicle registration for faculty, staff, students, and visitors has never been easier!
2021-2022 Student Online Vehicle Registration

 

Effective July 1, 2021, all decals issued for the 2020-2021 fiscal/school year will become invalid.  Sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students with a vehicle will be required to register their vehicle information (a maximum of one vehicle). The FAMU Parking Services Student Online Vehicle Registration Period will begin on July 1, 2021.

You may also choose to register via email (parkingservices@famu.edu) or in person at 2400 Wahnish Way.

NOTE: All outstanding citations should be satisfied PRIOR to the registration period.

 

What you need 

The following items will be needed for the Vehicle Registration Verification Process: 

  1. Student ID# 
  2. Valid Driver’s License
  3. Current Vehicle Registration (from the DMV)

NOTE: Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, the 2020-2021 registration will be prorated for the remainder of the fiscal year and will expire June 30, 2021. When you register your vehicle(s) for the 2020-20 period, the registration will be valid from October 1, 2020 until June 30, 2021.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

  • Students may only park in designated “General” parking lots. Violators will be subject to Tow or Boot.
  • All vehicles must be properly registered.  
  • All parking violations, with the exception of “NO DECAL,” will be enforced.
  • All outstanding citations should be satisfied PRIOR to the registration period.
  • Vehicles without a current decal/permit will be ticketed, towed and/or immobilized at owner/driver’s expense.
  • The LPR will require that drivers pull their vehicle into a parking space.
  • Motorcycles/scooters must be registered on site at the Parking Information Center, 2400 Wahnish Way.
