Honors Residential Development Communities

Connect, engage, and grow with the FAMU Honors community.

What are the Honors Residential Development Communities?

The Honors Residential Development Communities offer a tiered framework that supports students throughout their academic journey, spanning the Honors LLC for first-year students, Honors RISE for second-year students, and Honors APEX for third- and fourth-year students.

Through shared activities and opportunities to engage across program levels, students build relationships, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their sense of belonging.

Who Is It For?

The Honors Residential Development Communities bring together students in the Honors LLC, RISE, and APEX programs. Scholars across these program levels connect with fellow Honors students, participate in shared activities, and grow together as one Honors FAMUly.

What Can Students Expect?

Students can expect opportunities to:

  • Connect with fellow Honors scholars and build a sense of belonging.

  • Collaborate across the LLC, RISE, and APEX programs.

  • Engage in games, social events, and shared activities.

  • Grow as leaders, support one another, and create lasting memories.
