We want to keep all the FAMU-ly and the rattlers living in our residence halls safe. Proof of vaccination or a negative test result is required within 3 days of your scheduled move-in appointment.

Before Applying, Please

Consider The Following:

  • Currently the advanced payment for students admitted into the University is $200.
  • First-time Summer admitted students are not required to submit the advance payment for the following semester. However, all returning and fall admitted students are required to pay the advance payment of $200. Housing Applications are processed daily.
  • For paper applications, please mail or visit the University Housing Office for a copy or print out the application and bring it to the University Housing Office. Do not fax an application or payment. We encourage you to use our online portal for faster processing.

Our community consists of eight on-campus residence halls. Learn more about each one and find out which one works best for you. Living spaces are not one size fits all. You can choose the peace and quiet of a single room, a traditional dorm or an apartment with or without roommates.
