Why use RefWorks?
RefWorks is a Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases, such as FAMU’s catalog. You can use these references in writing papers to create bibliographies and automatically place citations within your papers.
Registration/Log in
Click on Sign up for an individual account Off-campus Access Click on Login using your Group Code and enter code Note: You may request the group code by email from the reference desk (libref@famu.edu) or call 800.504.6454 or 850.599.3330. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
The New Use Information screen will appear.
Type your full name
Type in a login name. The login name can be anything that you choose.
Type in your password. Again the password is your choice.
Repeat the password.
Type in your e-mail address. This is important in case you forget your login or password.
