Sampson Hall is a four and a half story building, with double occupancy rooms.
George M. Sampson Hall was constructed in 1937-38 and renovated in 2011.
The building, originally named South Hall for Men is a traditional male facility. The facility
provides hosing for 159 residents. Sampson Hall was known for the residence hall for
athletes; however, with the growth of the university it is no longer exclusively for athletes.
Sampson Hall offers community bathrooms; each bathroom is equipped with several
shower stalls, toilets, and sinks. Sampson Hall is located in the South end of campus
and is in close proximity to the Student Service Center which includes the campus
dining facility, campus food court, campus bookstore and the Rattler Card Office.
