Personal Statement Review
The Pre-Med/Pre-Health Advisory board is available to review your personal statement. Once your personal statement has been reviewed, an appointment will be scheduled so that you can meet with an advisory board member to discuss any revisions that should be made.

. The Pre-Med/Pre-Health Advisory Board encourages all students to submit their professional school application for review. After the advisory board has reviewed your application, an appointment will be scheduled to discuss any recommendations that will improve your application.
The Pre-Med/Pre-Health Advisory board will provide a simulation of a real interview as well as feedback designed to improve your interviewing skills. When requesting a mock interview, please submit a copy of your personal statement and resume. Professional attire is required for all mock interviews. Please plan to be in attendance for thirty minutes.
Service Learning/Community Engagement
The Pre-Med/Pre-Health program will assist students in their identification of service learning and community engagement activities that will enhance their academic career goals. Highly completive applicants to professional schools typically demonstrate significant service to the underserved.
There are a variety of test preparation resources that students have used. These vary from face-to-face classes, online classes or the purchase of test materials from organizations such as Kaplan, Princeton Review and Exam Krackers. The Association of American Medical Colleges (www.aamc.org/students/applying/mcat/
) also provides a wealth of resources for the MCAT exam.
