FAMU Marching 100 Summer Band Camp
316 Foster-Tanner Music Building
Tallahassee, Florida 32307

The Marching 100 Summer Band Camp has been in existence since 1990, when we had less than 100 members. The majority of those in attendance were from Burke HS (Charleston, SC), and William M. Raines HS (Jacksonville, FL). Burke the first attendance award for "most participants", and have been getting that award every year since!

The camp includes a variety of bands and ensembles, that build character and develop students to becoming more well-rounded musicians. While the Marching Band is the crown jewel of the camp, there are also three symphonic bands (Honor, Orange, and Green), two Jazz Bands, a Percussion Ensemble, Keyboard and Electronic Music, and an ensemble for every instrument. The camp also includes drum majors, flags, majorettes, and dancing girls.

Camp students are taught by "Marching 100" members. During the week participants perform at their symphonic and ensemble concerts, parade, and the final marching exhibition at Bragg Memorial Stadium, home of the Mighty Rattlers! Florida A& M University's Summer Band Camp provides students with musical and technical training in order to further their musical educational aspirations.  Year-after-year, hundreds of students aspire to attend for the experience of learning the fundamentals of marching, playing, and choreography routines that have made the "100" world-renowned.  We encourage all students to attend regardless of technical or musical skill.  All we ask is that you come ready to learn and to have fun.
