Meal PlanDormitory Students
All students residing in the following residence halls are required to sign up for a meal plan (MP): Cropper, Diamond, Gibbs, Truth, McGuinn, Paddyfoote, and Wheatley.
You must be enrolled in classes to sign up for a meal plan. Your RattlerCard is your meal card. The Meal Plan Participation Agreement is a legal binding document for one year (Fall and Spring Semesters).
The University Meal Plans for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011are:
19 MP w/ $25.00 Flex Bucks $1822 (tax included)
15 MP w/ $125.00 Flex Bucks $1822 (tax included)
12 MP w/ $225.00 Flex Bucks $1822 (tax included)
9 MP w/ $325.00 Flex Bucks $1822 (tax included)
Commuter 75 w/ $200 Flex Bucks $919 (tax included) off campus residents only
Commuter 35 w/ $125 Flex Bucks $473 (tax included) off-campus residents only
Meal Plan Description:
The numbers 19, 15, 12, or 9 represent the number of meals the student will receive each week to be used at the Main Dining Hall. Meal Plans are not carried over to the next semester.
Flex Bucks gives the student the option to go to other restaurants on campus only such as KFC, Pizza Hut, The FAMU Deli, Sub-Connection, Grill 155 and the Rattlers Nest. These dollar amounts are not carried over to the next semester. There is an option to purchase more Flex Bucks if the student depletes these funds before the semester ends.
Go online to sign-up for Meal Plan. Please note that you can only sign up once online.
- Go to www.FAMU.edu
- Select iRattler icon
- Login with username and password
- Select Campus Solution Center Self Service (from the menu)
- Finances then FAMU Meal Plan
- Select the term
- At the bottom of the Meal Plan agreement, select Meal Plan (use the hourglass)
- Accept select Process
- Students that need to make changes to their meal plan, report to the Rattler Card Office and fill out an MP Agreement in person.
The last day to cancel or change a meal plan is August 27, 2010 for the Fall 2010 Semester and January 7, 2010 for the Spring 2010 Semester. Contact the Rattler Card/Meal Plan Office for questions, cancellations and changes. They are located in the Student Services Center and can also be reached by phone at 850.599.8366.
