The purpose of the Public Services Guidelines and Procedures are to convey guidelines and departmental policies, for providing user service as well as serve as a communications mechanism. These guidelines will be used to assure a uniform standard of quality information and services to all users. A manual will be provided upon request to a library user who requests clarification of the service policies of the Reference Department. Guidelines and Procedures will be updated as situations differ that may mandate a particular revision or change.
