TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida A&M University (FAMU) will operate under a four-day work week beginning Friday, May 11 through Thursday, August 2. On Friday, August 3, the university will resume its regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
During this period, employees will work four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. The university’s daily hours of operation will be from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Exceptions to this four-day schedule will include the police department, buildings with research activities, university housing, the student health clinic and the New Beginnings Childcare Center.
