Gallery Program & Exhibitions

The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University Foster Tanner Fine Arts Gallery has a long and distinguished history of service to the areas of visual arts and art education as well as the entire FAMU community and the citizens of the State of Florida. The primary mission of the gallery program is to provide top quality exhibitions and gallery opening events to the student body so that they may experience the richness of visual art as an expression of material culture, history and creative genius of primarily, but notexclusively, artists from the African Diaspora.
