21st Century Walkway

For more than 100 years, Florida A&M University has provided all who entered the portals with a heritage of excellence and strong leadership. Famu realizes that its continued success is dependent on the future of its students.

You have a great opportunity of document your time at Florida A&M University, to honor a family member, a new graduate, a future or place your corporate name and logo that will be permanently installed along Florida A&M University's 21st Century Walkway, leading from the steps of Lee Hall to the Eternal Flame to Coleman Library.

Florida A&M University's 21st Century Walkway has sponsored scholarships for over 200 students on FAMU's campus. Alumni, Friends and Supporters have been instrumental in allowing FAMU to continue its mission of educationg today's students and preparing them for the challenges of the 21st Century.

Have your name among the many Alumni, Supporters and Friends who have already placed their name in a permanent display on the 21st Century Walkway.

Who should purchase a brick and why?
1. Everyone! We are encouraging everyone associated with Florida A&M University to have a brick on the walkway - University friends, employees, retirees, businesses, graduates, parents, grandparents, present and future FAMU students.

Is this donation tax deductible?

2. Yes! Your doantion is 100% tax deductible and will be utilized by the General Scholaship fund for students attending Florida A&M University.

Where is the location of the 21st Century Walkway?

3.The walkway starts at the entrance of Lee Hall and crosses the center of campus to the entrance of Coleman library. These 4“ x  8“inch bricks are $100 each.
Is there an alternate location for my brick?
4. Yes! The prestigious entrance of Lee Hall has 12 diamond shaped cuts. These diamonds will house 55 bricks. The cost for each of the bricks located in this well traveled location will cost $500
May I give a brick in remembrance or honor of someone special?
5. Yes! You may use the bricks as useful Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. They are meaningful ways to honor or memorialize relatives and friends.
