The department of Enterprise Information Technology provides all students, faculty and staff of Florida A&M University with a FAMU email address (FAMMail).FAMMail is the official communication service of Florida A&M University. It provides users email access from the Internet or from an email client of their choice.
How do I get a FAMMail Account
Students To activate your FAMMail Account visit the E.I.T. Service Center at 128 Old Dyson Pharmacy Building with your current class scedule and Rattler Id.
Faculty and Staff
On your first day you should already have a FAMU email addres.If you do not have a FAMU email address, please call 412- HELP (4357) or have your supervisor enter aTMSwith the following information:
Your official Start Date
Your Department Name
Your Birth Date
The last five digits of SSN
A phone number where you can be contacted
FAMNetID
Your FAMNet ID is the account that all FAMU faculty staff and students must have in order to access email services (FAMMail), iRattler services as well as dial-up and wireless internet services.
Space Restrictions
There are disk space quotas on your FAMMail account (250MB for students and 350MB for faculty and staff). If you exceed your allotted space you will no longer be able to send or receive email.
