The Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CoPPS) P20 Center of Excellence for Cancer Research, Training and Community Service will sponsor a research symposium and town hall meeting titled: Closing the Gap in Cancer Health Disparities: Talk Listen and Care (TLC) Symposium on Oct. 15 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in the CoPPS Blue Cross/Blue Shield Room.
The goal of the symposium is to reduce health disparities in cancer among African Americans.
This year’s symposium and town hall meeting will feature distinct of panelists, including Dr. Lovell Jones, Dr. Rick Kittles, Dr. Jhanelle E. Gray, and Dr. Mark Dignan.
