Tallahassee, Fla. – The Florida A&M University (FAMU) Search Committee for the position of vice president for Institutional Advancement/executive director of the FAMU Foundation Inc. has identified two finalists who will be interviewed this month. The vice president for Institutional Advancement is the university’s chief fundraising officer and provides leadership for the FAMU Foundation Inc. The person in this position reports directly to the president. The search committee is expected to submit its list of unranked finalists to FAMU President James H. Ammons no later than Monday, December 19, 2007.
The two finalists are: Carla Willis, principal gifts officer at the University of Toledo and senior consultant with John Brown Limited, Inc.; and Thomas Haynes, Jr., vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the University Foundation at Montclair State University. Haynes’ visit is December 7 and Willis’ campus visit is scheduled for December 17. The interview schedules are listed below.
