NEW CMS SYSTEM FOR WEBSITE EDITING

Florida A&M University is pleased to announce the new Content Management System (CMS) for the FAMU.edu website.
This new integrated website editing system will enable all Content Managers within Schools & Colleges, Departments, Offices, and Projects or Programs to manage, edit, create, and maintain control of their own website and webpage from within their own area.
The new FAMU.edu website framework will provide a consistent look and feel for building our own Florida A&M University Brand Awareness.
The Florida A&M University Brand has a very powerful awareness in the Academic Higher Educational Arena and was voted the 2006 #1 HBC University in the nation by Black Enterprise Magazine.
SIGN UP FOR TRAINING CLASSES
AND CREDENTIALING OF CONTENT MANAGERS
This new CMS system will be introduced to Content Managers during the training and credentialing classes scheduled to commence December 4, 2006. These classes will be done face-to-face with direct one-on-one training. You will be teamed with one of the Web Team CMS Subject Matter Experts (SME) and will actually construct your FAMU website and web pages.
The classes are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays with a class session time total of 4 hours, composed of 2, 2-hour sessions being conducted on the indicated daily schedule from 10:00am to 12:00noon, and 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Lunch is not provided.
The classes are being conducted at EIT Innovation Park, 2000 Levy Ave, Building A, Room 293 in the second floor training room.
Classes on December 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 2006.
Classes on January 8, 10, 15, 17, 2007.
