The Division of Engineering Technology offers students a broad spectrum of academic opportunities to continue their education and professional development. The academic program of the division offers unique experiences for our students, while promoting teaching, research, international construction and technology, and outreach into the community.

The Division currently offers two degree programs Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology (CNET) and Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology (EET). Both programs have been accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET  for over 20 years, which makes the Division one of the seasoned programs in the university.

There are many factors to consider when choosing a college program. One of the most important factors is whether or not that program is accredited. Accreditation assures that a program has met certain quality standards. To employers, graduate schools, and licensure and certification boards, graduation from an accredited program signifies adequate preparation for entry into the profession. In fact, many of these groups require graduation from an accredited program as a minimum qualification.

The faculty and staff of the Division of Engineering Technology thanks you for your interest in exploring education opportunities offered through our school and are looking forward to answer any questions and also welcome you as a future Construction Engineering Technology or Electronic Engineering Technology student here at FAMU.
