The Florida A&M University (FAMU) School of Business and Industry (SBI), under the leadership of the founding dean, Dr. Sybil Collins Mobley, was established in 1974 to prepare talented students from around the nation and the world to not only survive, but to thrive in a competitive global market place.  Nearly four decades later, the outstanding record of SBI’s achievements is known worldwide, especially among corporate executives and recruiters who frequently visit SBI to observe and review its academic, professional development and internship programs as well as to recruit SBI students.   Tom Peters, in his bestselling book, A Passion for Excellence, described SBI as “the Marine corps of business schools: pride, poise, excellence!”... Mobley-Thompson Creativity and Innovation Summer Academy

Florida A&M University will be hosting the Inaugural Mobley-Thompson Creativity and Innovation Summer Academy. The program, sponsored by funding from the School of Business and Industry's Interdisciplinary Center for Creativity and Innovation (ICCI), is available for students in grades 3 through grades 12, and will consist of separate theme-based weeks designed to introduce students to various topics centered around technology and entrepreneurship.
