Any student who has earned at least 12 semester hours
(non-remedial) of college credit following graduation from high school is considered a transfer applicant. Our Mission
Transfer Student Services (TSS) provides undergraduate transfer students with a seamless transition to Florida A&M University (FAMU) by collaborating with various departments on campus.Our Purpose
TSS utilizes a student-centered approach which empowers students in their successful transition to FAMU by developing collaborative efforts to effectively enhance the academic success of our transfer student population. Serving Transfer Students
• TSS provides information and direction for students seeking admission, including contact information and Web resources, as well as continuing support services for the transfer student population.
• TSS works with the Transfer Student Association (TSA) to present events for students new to FAMU.
• TSS works to identify and resolve institutional practices and policies that impact transfer students through ongoing relationships with the administration of Florida A&M University and its network of support.
• TSS represents FAMU in the role of advocate in developing relationships with Florida community colleges.Helpful Links
