Government Documents

The Government Documents Department receives documents distributed by the U. S. Government Printing Office/GPO Access service through its Federal Depository Library Program. The collection is arranged by the Superintendent of Documents classification system. The bulk of the print copies are on open shelves on the 2nd floor Coleman Annex (see Stack Directory). Titles issued in microform or electronic media formats (e.g. CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, video, etc.) are located in room 207 of the 2nd floor Coleman Old Bldg.

The Department is also responsible for a few titles from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), agricultural government agencies, and state agricultural cooperative or extension programs.

All of the collection is available for public use. Some titles may be restricted to "In library use only" depending on their format, currency, or status (see Reference Services Policies). For additional information contact our staff.
