Departmental Blackboard Page

The Department of History and Political Science has created a Blackboard account for disseminating information to our majors regarding departmental events. All students within the department are requested to create a Blackboard account and join the departmental page. All important dates and events will be posted there.

How to create a Blackboard account

  • Go to famu.blackboard.com.
  • Click Create Account and fill in required information.
  • You must then log in to your account.

How to enroll in the Departmental page

  • Click the tab Courses.
  • In the Course Search box type in: Social Science Majors and click “go”.
  • In the Search Results there should be an entry under Course ID: SSM001.
  • Click on the Enroll button to the right.
  • Congratulations you are now enrolled in our departmental page.
