Rita R. Craig FAMU- Junior | Biology Major I am a third year Biology/Pre-medicine student from Birmingham, AL. I chose to major in biology because I am fascinated with the human biology and various aspects in the field of medicine. Upon the completion of my undergraduate study, I plan to attend medical school and acquire the necessary skills to become an obstetrician/gynecologist. I enjoy performing various experiments, growing cultures of bacteria, and cloning DNA in the laboratory. Working in the laboratory has allowed me to gain a better understanding of materials discussed in lecture. I believe that my participation in this summer research program will be a great opportunity to learn new information on various techniques performed in the laboratory and also allow me to receive additional hands-on-experience. |
