Over the years, state investments in FAMU have generated a high return for Florida. FAMU attracts and educates a growing number of students who enter Florida’s workforce. FAMU awards more than 2,000 degrees annually.
Accessible and Affordable
FAMU is working hard to make a quality education more accessible and affordable. FAMU offers programs at 12 sites that are located strategically throughout the state ---- including Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and Miami ---, each provides academic programs that are closely aligned with the needs of the community it serves.
FAMU knows its students well, the average median family income for a FAMU student is less than $40,000 annually.
