SOE DEGREE PROGRAMS
The School of the Environment (SOE) offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. We have a strong emphasis on research, which we also use as an important mechanism for teaching. If you are seeking to learn about the areas of expertise and research activities within the school, please visit the Faculty and Staff
Students with degrees in environmental science are prepared and qualified to pursue many career options. Our graduates have gone on to become researchers, lawyers, teachers, professors, medical professionals, and government and industry workers.
Teaching and research activities are supported through state funds and grants from several federal agencies including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the National Science Foundation (NSF). As a result, we are able to offer financial assistance to many of our students who have and maintain a high grade point average.
