Center for Environmental Equity and Justice (CEEJ)In 1998, the legislature provided funding for the establishment of a Center for Environmental Equity and Justice (CEEJ) at Florida A&M University within the Environmental Sciences Institute (The Environmental Sciences Institute offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Science). The purpose of the Center is to conduct and facilitate research, develop policies, engage in education, training, and community outreach activities with respect to environmental equity and justice issues.
