Regulated Diesel Storage Tanks Program This program ensures that through coordination with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the Leon County Storage Tank Section of the Division of Environmental Compliance inspects all university fuel storage tanks 551 gallon capacity or greater, above and below the ground, annually. Also ensures compliance with the applicable Florida Statutes (F.S 376), and Florida Administrative Code (FAC 62-761).

This requirement is governed by Florida Statutes (F.S.) 252 and Florida Administrative Code (FAC) 9G-14.
Requires the completion and submission of the Tier II Emergency and Hazardous Chemicals (e.g. gasoline and diesel oil) inventory reports; Ensures the following entities are all provided copies of the reports (a) The Division of Emergency Management (b) Apalachee Regional Planning Council and (c) The Tallahassee Fire Department; Ensures all new facilities are added as necessary and their respective inventories recorded.
